Privacy notice

What this is: aeax is an early-stage prototype. This notice describes current behaviour plainly. It is not legal advice and will be replaced by a full policy before any production use.
Account data: When you create an account we store your email address and authentication identifiers, plus any display name or business name you enter. Authentication is handled by our managed backend provider.
Information you submit: Pre-qualification submissions store the business and financial details you enter, the computed decision, and the reason codes behind it. We ask for explicit consent before saving this information.
No credit bureau access: The prototype performs no hard or soft credit pull, contacts no credit bureau, and does not verify your information with third parties. Credit-file quality is a self-reported input.
Public listing data: The live demo retrieves only public loan listing data published by Kiva through its public API — the same information shown on a public Kiva loan page. No private borrower data is requested and no credential is used.
Decision runs: Decision runs are append-only records containing normalized inputs, missing fields, versions, an input fingerprint and the outcome. Only their owner and authorised staff roles can read them.
Operator-reported capital actions: If you record that you funded a loan on an external platform, we store the amount, external loan ID, timestamp and your optional reference note. These records are owner-scoped.
Sharing: We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with advertisers. Data is processed by our hosting and managed-database provider in order to run the service.
Retention and deletion: You can request deletion of your account data by contacting us. Because the decision ledger is append-only, deletion is performed as an account-level erasure rather than an in-place edit.
Cookies: We use a session token to keep you signed in. There is no advertising or cross-site tracking in this prototype.
